The NTI feature now allows the system to diagnose weaknesses in a learner's understanding of specific course material topics and automatically prescribe individualized content served up in real time based on these weaknesses, resulting in more efficient learning without any instructor or content development intervention whatsoever.

How Does NTI Work?
When Zoomi's software first encounters any piece of content it subjects it to a battery of tests and probes to understand the topics and the contexts in which they appear. It then has available a store of content segments to reassemble later as needed.
As a learner interacts with a piece of content, Zoomi monitors for several "triggers" of confusion. A trigger could be as explicit as answering a quiz question incorrectly, or some less obvious behavior as recognized by Zoomi's Artificial Intelligence. When triggered, our system analyzes the topics associated with this segment and searches the course for the segments that have the most potential of clarifying these topics.
Without any human intervention, the system pulls together new combinations of information, down to the level of paragraphs and sentences. If a person continues to exhibit the same triggers, it will continue to serve up new combinations of custom content as long as doing so is still in line with maximizing the overall objective: learning efficiency.
