Toyota's all-new Auris spearheading Geneva lineup

All-new Auris to spearhead the Toyota Geneva lineup

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt., March 1, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- This year's Geneva Motor Show might be spotlighting mostly European vehicles and auto manufacturers, but Toyota doesn't intend to sit it out. With concepts for the new Corolla and Supra, as well as the all-new Auris, making an appearance, with the Auris leading the charge.

The all-new Auris is bringing all the updates that Toyota can fit on it, offering what Toyota promises to be a "more dynamic exterior design," to start. Another promised feature is that the new Auris will be the starting point for Toyota's new "dual hybrid strategy," offering two gasoline-electric engine choices. Interested buyers can expect the new 2.0-liter full hybrid engine, as well as a 1.8-liter internal-combustion engine.

However, the big question on vehicle experts and buyer's minds is, will the new Auris make an appearance in U.S. showrooms? The answer isn't clear, as currently, the Corolla reigns as the king of the U.S. market, according to Toyota sales statistics.

In addition to the coming Auris, many interested parties are also keeping an eye on the new Supra, which Toyota announced some time ago. In a press release, Toyota spokespeople stated that they will reveal a "modern racing concept which signals its commitment to bring the brand's most iconic car back to the market."

Interested buyers are encouraged to contact White River Toyota for more information on the upcoming Toyota models, and the models currently on the market today. The dealership can be reached at 802-299-2800, or by visiting in person at 303 Sykes Mountain Avenue White River Junction, VT 05001.
