BOULDER, Colo., May 14, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The TownePlace Suites by Marriott Boulder Broomfield, located next to FlatIron Crossing Mall, is happy to announce the completion of its multi-million dollar upgrade. The extended stay Broomfield hotel's renovation added a new public space, laundry room, art program and more to create an upbeat and open feeling that adds life to a longer stay.
To create a vibrant public area open to guests and their visitors, a suite was removed and now in its place are bright tables and chairs, a community table and a television. The laundry room was expanded to include more washers and dryers. And the fitness room remains as a cool and calm space to move around.
Guest suites have a new design scheme, all new carpeting, upholstery and feature Marriott's new bedding package. New flexible desk space offers easy-access plugs and allows guests to adjust the angles and space needed for working. Wireless internet services have also been boosted for a stronger signal, perfect for business and those using multiple devices in their hotel rooms.
"We've brightened the whole place up with new colors, space and even the lighting," said Marsha Graham, Regional Sales Manager for the TownePlace Suites. "Our guests are already enjoying the new public area, there are people in there all the time for meetings or just hanging out, people just tend to gather in there."
The TownePlace Suites has also upgraded all of their in-room and public space artwork with the assistance of their management company, Sage Hospitality. Each Sage property is decorated with local artwork, influenced by the local community. For the Boulder Broomfield location, artwork was commissioned from the VSA Colorado/Access Gallery, an inclusive nonprofit organization that engages the community by opening doors to creative and educational opportunities for people with disabilities to access and experience the arts.
On April 30, 2013, the hotel celebrated with The Broomfield, Louisville and Superior Chambers of Commerce with a ribbon cutting ceremony while welcoming guests and the public in to see the new look. A silent auction was also held benefitting CASA Adams and Broomfield Counties, a non-profit volunteer agency for children who have been appointed an advocate through the court system, often these children suffer from neglect. The hotel raised more than $800 as a donation to the program.
