The U. S. "Accreditation allows the school to become accessible to many more potential students because they can benefit from tuition reimbursement programs, potential loans and grants," commented Timothy Lam, Executive Director of TISOH. "The benefits of a TISOH education is evidenced by the hundreds of graduates enjoying their careers in hospitality. This accreditation, combined with the school's 96% student satisfaction rate and its dedicated corporate and association supporters, strengthens our mission of providing quality short-term continuing education and career training programs for those seeking a career in hospitality or wishing to advance."

Accreditation by ACCET is an organizational commitment and a strategic plan for quality training. The peer review evaluation process inspects every aspect of the institution and serves to keep programs current, relevant and educationally sound. Accreditation allows for students to gain access to tuition reimbursement programs from their employers. It also allows institutions to seek approval for federal student aid loans and grants as well as wide access to state and local funding programs.
