The Academy - Miami Campus announces great success with its new InfoSec Warrior® Program

According to DOL, Information Security Analyst Occupations are now recognized in Florida as a High Skill/High Wage for 2013-2014.

MIAMI, April 5, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Academy – Miami Campus ( announced today the success of its new cyber security certificate program called InfoSec Warrior® program. The recent graduating class passed all certification exams and 90% have either been hired or currently work within the South Florida business and military footprint.


The Academy – Miami Campus provides highly-focused skills training and practical experience to address the cyber workforce training needs of the military, the intelligence community, federal civilian agencies, and the commercial sector in the southeast region. The Academy – Miami Campus' InfoSec Warrior® program includes four civilian credentials: CISSP, Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Network Security Administrator (ENSA). Comprised of content drawn by 4 well regarded Certification tracks within the IT Security Field, an individual will be exposed to the course curricula from each vendor mentioned above, in preparation for successfully passing the associated certification exam once completed. The skills mastered in the program prepare participants with immediate, on-the-job effectiveness to tackle real-world situations.

The InfoSec Warrior® program is also approved by Veteran Affairs for interested Veterans who are seeking to obtain cyber security Civilian Credentials / Certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CISSP, CompTIA's Security + (S+) and Certified Network Security Administrator (ENSA). Veterans may use their GI Bill / Post 911 to offset all costs associated with the InfoSec Warrior® program at The Academy – Miami Campus. This program is parallel with the recent National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) release of the National Initiative for Cyber security Education (NICE) framework.

Additionally, active members of the military should take note that the InfoSec Warrior® program falls in line with DOD 8570.1 initiative.
