Stork Babies are mini-matchbox babies that all come with unique empowering sayings for children ("Like believe in your dreams - you can ACHIEVE ANYTHING!"). They are ity-bity dolls that are made with the highest quality in mind. They all come in their own matchbox type box that acts as their bed. They are brightly colored and beautifully designed. Two collections will be released a year with the current one, the Italian Collection being offered. All dolls come with Italian names and places of origin (helping little ones know their geography). The founder of Stork Babies is Elizabeth Cross, who designs them with her three little daughters (ages 6, 10 and 11). All of the children assist with design, color choice and naming all of these gorgeous little dolls. Elizabeth's daughters are the 3 VP's of design and have helped every step of the way with all the decisions that the company needs to make...even marketing, packaging and future products the company is planning to launch. Starla (Elizabeth's 10 year old daughter), said to Elizabeth, "Mommy - I cannot believe I own a toy company at my age"! The whole reason behind the company is empowering children and making them believe in themselves and their dreams - so it apparently is working.
Future plans of the company include, the creation of continual collections of Stork Babies - the release of the Spanish Collection in August 2013 and the American Collection in March 2014. Other future product lines include Animal Babies. Stork Babies have hit the market and are going like HOT CAKES. The packaging on these dolls has been been made to be minimal and a concerted effort has been made to reduce the amount of packaging used.
A percentage of all profits go to Plan USA and Plan Canada to help feed and nourish children in 3rd world countries.
