"We are thrilled that our local associates are the premier adopter of our certification program," states Nikia Anderson, Program Manager for Smart Horizons Public Safety Software Department. "For them to join us in improving the interoperability of our two products reflects their desire to equip our mutual customers with the best possible tools for serving our communities."

The 9-1-1 Adviser certification program offers Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels of certification with Gold delivering the highest level of interoperability.  The level awarded is determined by the number of optimum implementations demonstrated for each functional requirement. "We developed a comprehensive procedure having criteria that allows the level of interoperability to be quickly determined," says Clifton Smith, Senior Engineer for Smart Horizons Public Safety Department.

Steven Williams, Director of Project Management at CTS America, further affirms the success of this new program, "We are very pleased with the 9-1-1 Adviser certification process. Achieving Gold level certification for CTS' SmartCAD product is a huge win for our company and our current and future customers. With the integration of SmartCAD and 9-1-1 Adviser applications, the dispatcher is empowered with extremely powerful tools that are easy to use and allow for more efficient use of a dispatcher's time when responding to public safety calls for service."
