Sheryl Garrett and Wealthminder Partner to Deliver New Planning and Investment Solution

Next Generation Practice Management and Client Communication Tool for Financial Advisors Being Announced at T3 Technology Conference

RESTON, Va., Feb. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Wealthminder, a provider of financial planning and investment advice software, is partnering with Sheryl Garrett, CFP®, AIF®, founder of the Garrett Planning Network and a well-known advocate for mainstream Americans, to create a new practice management and client communication solution for financial advisors. This new offering – which builds on Wealthminder's existing suite of tools – focuses on providing targeted needs-based financial plans. The solution equips advisors and clients with real-time visibility to both the plan and it's implementation.

"A big challenge in the planning space is advisors often don't have great visibility into the client's follow-through on their recommendations," Garrett said. "Providing this insight and the ability to easily follow-up and make adjustments is what separates Wealthminder's solution in the market. The reality is that a plan is only as good as its execution. On top of that, people's lives and plans do change over time. I believe Wealthminder's unique software and dynamic implementation tracking model is a game changer for both advisors and their clients."

Wealthminder expects to make the solution available to advisors, including the Garrett Planning Network, by the end of the first quarter. "I can't wait to introduce this new tool to the advisors in our network. I've had a vision for many years of a software solution that would enable advisors to consistently deliver high-quality plans and advice efficiently, and I feel we are finally on track to realize that vision," Garrett said.

ADVISORY BOARD ROLE

As part of their collaboration, Sheryl Garrett will be joining Wealthminder's Board of Advisors. Wealthminder's CEO, Rich Ellinger, had this to say: "I can't tell you how excited I am to be working with Sheryl Garrett. Philosophically, we are aligned. We are both dedicated to making sure quality financial advice is accessible to every American. By my count, there are almost 100 million U.S. households that could use more financial assistance than they can get today. In addition, Sheryl's vast wealth of knowledge and experience is proving invaluable in helping us figure out how best to solve both advisors' and their clients' most pressing problems. We are so glad to have her as part of the team."
