Based out of the company's New York City headquarters, Zeff will be responsible for overseeing ScrollMotion's overall creative direction. Zeff will manage teams in New York and San Diego that design and develop custom applications for enterprise clients. He will also provide UX/UI leadership for the ScrollMotion Enterprise Platform, which provides the tools designers need to create, distribute, manage and effectively use interactive content on mobile devices -- without programming resources. Additionally, Zeff will work closely with the product, sales and marketing teams to shape the organization's brand image and product roadmap, and its ability to uniquely solve business needs through mobile content design and implementation.

Zeff's experience in creating storytelling apps originates from his background in journalism. Prior to starting Joe Zeff Designs, Zeff worked as an editor, reporter and designer at newspapers and magazines, including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Detroit Free Press and The New York Times, where he was the newspaper's first Presentation Editor. He then moved to TIME magazine, where he advanced from Associate Art Director to Deputy Art Director to Graphics Director. At TIME, Zeff was a pioneer in showing how animation software could be leveraged to create realistic print graphics, and his team inspired newspapers and magazines worldwide to combine illustration with information using computer-generated imagery.
Zeff currently resides in Montclair, NJ with his wife and three children. He previously served on the board of the Society of Publication Designers in New York City and chaired its popular speaker series. When not working, Zeff is likely riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle or rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
