Michael Coakley, President and CEO at Coakley and Colleagues
Michael Coakley is the President and CEO of Coakley and Colleagues, Inc., a consulting firm focused on higher education, particularly in the programming and design of student life facilities. He is also currently the Associate Vice President of Educational Outreach and Student Services at Arizona State University (ASU). Coakley's portfolio includes housing and residential life; campus dining; the Tempe campus student union; and success coaching. Prior to ASU, he served as Assistant Vice President for Student Life and Executive Director of Student Housing and Dining Services at Northern Illinois University (NIU). Coakley also worked at Wright State University (Ohio), Western Michigan University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He boasts more than thirty years of university- level experience in student development, housing operations, auxiliary services, residential life, judicial affairs, student activities, multicultural student services and Greek Affairs administration, plus academic experience as an instructor and a clinical faculty member.
Andrew Marshall, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Campus Apartments
Andrew Marshall joined Campus Apartments in 2001, and is currently Chief Information Officer, responsible for planning, executing and integrating technology initiatives. He has 30 years business experience, including 20 years in a variety of senior management roles with innovative companies achieving high growth rates in both Enterprise and SME environments. He is also responsible for Campus Apartments' technology subsidiary, Campus Technologies Inc. Prior to joining Campus Apartments, Marshall served as technology director for a $100 million government program, as an advisor to GE Capital's Equity Participation Group, as development director for Volt Delta Europe and as a program manager for GE Capital Global Consumer Finance, specializing in the management of professional organizations, and adoption of organizational and operational change caused by rapid corporate growth. He has also been a member of various advisory boards guiding companies through Capital Market offerings.
