JOLIET, Ill., Aug. 28, 2913 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- After years of success with its eccentric charm and strong performance, the Kia Soul experienced a promising redesign for the 2014 model year.
Recently, there has been a lot of well-deserved buzz surrounding the upcoming Kia Soul release beginning with the new Kia Hamsters ad. The viral ad shows the Hamsters refining their apperances before making a red carpet debut in the "Totally Transformed" Kia Soul.
In addition to the new viral ad, the 2014 Kia Soul is making its European debut at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show before going on sale in Europe in the following weeks. While the 2014 Soul already made its American debut at the New York Auto Show, it has yet to reach dealerships, although it is expected to arrive at Bill Jacobs Kia near Chicago in early fall.
The 2014 version of the Kia Soul rests on a larger, stiffer chassis expected to increase agility and handling. That bigger chassis also offers passengers more leg and head room while Kia also widened the opening of the rear hatch and expanded cargo space.
While the exterior sticks to the Kia Soul blueprint, the Soul does sport a larger airdam, available foglights, and a leaner overall stance. Inside, the Soul is filled with softer materials and more advanced features including the available UVO infotainment system, leather upholstery, and keyless ignition.
The Soul isn't the only 2014 Kia making its way to Bill Jacobs Kia, however. The 2014 Kia Optima midsize sedan is expected to arrive near Chicago in the same time frame. As one of the staples of the Kia lineup, the Optima is expected to come with a slate of subtle upgrades and new options for the 2014 model year.
