Jim Tennant Named President of RBB

WOOSTER, Ohio, Jan. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- RBB, the Wooster-based experts in small batch electronics, announced the promotion of Jim Tennant to company president, effective January 3, 2017. Bruce Hendrick, owner and CEO, emphasizes that Tennant will be pivotal in guiding the company toward steady growth within its niche industry. Hendrick cited Tennant's highly successful three-year tenure as general manager of the company as the main reason behind the promotion.

Tennant's promotion is a timely reward for his contributions to RBB, according to Hendrick. "Jim's personal commitment to preserving and enhancing RBB's unique offerings and company mojo has never wavered. In my 16 years with the company, we have never been this strong," said Hendrick, adding "And when a leader delivers these kinds of results so quickly, the wise business owner rewards him or her with more work and responsibility!"

During Tennant's three years as general manager, he successfully upgraded critical internal and external processes. These upgrades included improving interdepartmental teamwork; making forward-thinking personnel, operational and financial decisions; enhancing client relations; and improving the overall financial health of RBB.

As president of RBB, Tennant takes over direct responsibility for sales, operations and corporate services, while his management team handles daily responsibilities. Bruce Hendrick will continue as owner and CEO of RBB and carry additional duties supporting marketing and the company's culture.

Tennant's promotion closely follows a recent RBB rebranding update that included a new company logo and website—both of which clearly position the company as being "The Small Batch Experts."

RBB is an on-demand manufacturer of mission-critical electronic assemblies for clients with large portfolios of recurring small batches, serving the medical, industrial, commercial and military sectors. Since 1973, clients have chosen RBB for proven quality, speed, flexibility and reduced inventory.
