Project:NOW Launches at Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation's Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting, and Inaugural Legacy Dinner with President George W. Bush

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Actor/Producer/Philanthropist Dale Godboldo made a Commitment to Action at the 10th Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting called Project:NOW (PN), a non-profit initiative that stresses urgency in addressing the educational needs of at-risk youth in America. To help raise funding, PN held the Inaugural Legacy Project Dinner on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, honoring President George W. Bush. The evening was hosted by "The Good Wife's" Chris Noth.

Project:NOW was formed by Godboldo's Always In The Club Foundation in partnership with US Dream Academy, Cherokee Gives Back, Arthur Wylie Foundation, Dimension4 Strategy Group, and PVBLIC Foundation. Its mission is to help at-risk youth compete in a modern, global economy. Programs include innovative literacy interventions and intensive entrepreneurship training courses designed to create leaders in underserved communities in America. Co-founded by David Garner and Angelique Sheppard, Project:NOW will leverage its partners' core competencies, existing infrastructures, and years of hands-on experience to accelerate their activities - uniquely, and relentlessly, stressing the urgency of NOW.

"I'm excited to be working with CGI and all of our partners to launch what we believe will help change the way that our country responds to young people most in need of help," states Godboldo. "I'm so thankful and honored that President Bush, who has been at the forefront of bringing these issues to a national platform, participated in our first event - a testament to his ongoing commitment to supporting our youth."

Project:NOW is also developing leading-edge funding strategies, including public/private partnerships that utilize Social Impact Bonds (SIBs) to scale success.

"Project:NOW is at the forefront of a national movement to bring together investors, non-profits, and political figures in new and purposeful ways," states Garner, Director of SIBs. "Our goal is to build a more efficient, cost effective, mutually beneficial society, that's preventative rather than reactive when it comes to addressing social problems."
