Family-Friendly 17 Days Festival Event to Support the Center For the Visual Artists

GREENSBORO, N.C., Sept. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- To support art education and the Center for Visual Artists of Greensboro (CVA), PhotoBiz is proud to host the second annual Rockin' Chalk Party on Saturday October 5, 2013 from 11AM to 2PM.

The whole family can participate including drawing with chalk, face painting, balloon art, tie dye, and more. This fundraising event is a part of the artsGreensboro 17 Days Festival, and is open to the public at no charge.

"The local arts are so important and we are looking forward to combining a day of fun with fundraising support for the CVA," said PhotoBiz COO, Lauren Marx. "We hope you will join us in supporting art education."

Purchasing a brick for $25 (or five for $100) is a great opportunity for any individual person, family, school, business, club, or team to support the CVA. Bricks can even be decorated to truly make a mark. To reserve a brick, visit

Artists of all ages can also participate in a chalk drawing competition to be judged by the CVA, complete with a cash prize.  To reserve a space in the competition, visit

The Rockin' Chalk Party will be held rain or shine and all proceeds will go to the Center for Visual Artists (CVA) in Greensboro, NC. Special thanks to Downtown Greensboro, Inc. for also sponsoring the Rockin' Chalk Party. For more information please visit
