"OUT WEST" is the story of rich heiress Prissy Alcott (Jennifer Elise Cox), who is living the luxe life in Vegas with her teacup piglet, Baby until she gets the call from Momma that the family is broke and selling their ranch. Bonnie, Prissy's childhood friend turned "frienemy" has always desired to be Prissy. Now together with her P-whipped husband Cal they've offered to bail the Alcott's out by buying their ranch.

Animal-obsessed Prissy can't bare the thought of losing the ranch and her precious creatures; especially her childhood horse, Humpy: a bedraggled shadow of a once-great rodeo horse, so she's off to save the ranch, calling in reinforcements - her ex-Fiancée Charles, the love of her life who left her at the alter when he discovered he was gay; which everyone else seemed to know...except Prissy. Charles, recently fired from his high-powered talent agent job, brings along his two gay best friends to help: Travis, the flamboyantly out writer of a popular gossip column under a female pen name; Billy, a "Tim Gunn"- type fashion designer who's designs are so off the wall that no one gets them. Helping them is Buck, the Alcott's handsome ranch foreman who's always carried a torch for Prissy, Gordo, the no-nonsense quietly intense "Real" cowboy and Cookie, the Alcott's ranch cook.

When Prissy comes up with the idea to re-boot their run-down ranch as a dude ranch they embark on a mission to transform the ranch into a sparkling guest resort in a bizarre style-twist of "Wizard of Oz". Along the way they encounter obstacles, not the least of which are sabotage attempts by the evil bonnie who's bent on seeing Prissy & Company fail. The action heats up to include the four queen's on a quick road trip to Vegas with intentions to win enough dough to complete the Ranch's transformation project. Prissy plays a high-stakes poker game populated by "Vegas High Rollers" featuring cameos from some of the world's most recognizable poker players, including Prissy's Poker nemesis, Mike "The Mouth" Matusow. The film culminates in a rodeo competition that pits Prissy and Bonnie against each other for the keys to the ranch.

During their time together each character gets in touch with personal power, discover unlikely romance and learn the importance of real love and friendship.

The film is Executive Produced by Jim Vallely (Arrested Development, Golden Girls) and is currently shooting in Mancos, Colorado at the Majestic Dude Ranch through October and Las Vegas through November, with an expected release date in 2012.
