Entering its tenth anniversary, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles offers a platform to showcase the moving image for filmmakers across the globe. De Lillo held a Board position for NewFilmmakers Los Angeles, prior to the appointment as Board Chair.
De Lillo continues to support the ongoing vision of the organization to recognize filmmakers for their contributions to the entertainment industry, connecting these talents with opportunities for distribution, production, acquisition, and representation. NewFilmmakers Los Angeles has provided thousands of filmmakers with tangible benefits in connection with their Los Angeles-based festival program.

Danny De Lillo is a London-born actor trained in stage and motion picture acting. He is an alumnus of, and earned a bachelor's degree from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York.

Hon. Bob Blumenfield presented De Lillo with the Los Angeles City Council's award of recognition for efforts in making Los Angeles a better place to live, work, and play in entertainment. De Lillo is an alumni member of The British Academy of Film and Television Arts. He holds a current membership with British Equity. He also supports local philanthropic efforts, managing the Dream Scholar Program®, engaging with local community organizations to help youth, and fundraising to help individuals in need.
