SAN JOSE, Calif., May 2, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Keep your kids busy and rolling in fun this summer with a unique twist on summer camp – Euro School of Tennis' multi-sport program at Oakwood Tennis Center in West San Jose. Building on the success they've had at the same camp at their San Mateo and Fremont locations every summer, this is a day camp experience that focuses on tennis while integrating lots of other sports too, this is the perfect way to get into the swing of things this summer.
It's All About the Experience
Lots of parents are already thinking about how to keep kids from hitting that inevitable summer boredom, but thanks to this unique program, kids finally have something great to do.
Each day kids get a chance to learn the skills, techniques, and strategies necessary to really dominate the tennis court, but the best part is that it's not all technical instruction. Instead, students will be learning great tennis skills as well as swimming, playing soccer, tossing the Frisbee, participating in relay races, shooting some hoops, and enjoying action-packed games of dodge ball in between tennis instruction sessions. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There's even a QuickStart program designed for kids ages ten and under.
Designed for kids ages 6 – 14, students of at every level of the game are welcomed. Each day, they're separated into groups by age. With a coach to student ratio of 1 to 6 or less, it's the learning experience any student needs in the world of tennis. What's more, though, is that all campers get a shirt, and there's a pizza party every week.
"We have a camp each year, but this is the first time we've incorporated so many additional activities," said Alex Rupchin, Camp Director. "This should be a great chance for kids to learn not only about tennis, but enjoy some great summer fun as well."
The Euro School of Tennis Promise
Lots of facilities offer a variety of different summer camps to students, but at Euro School of Tennis, things are a bit different. With a professional coaching staff and an attitude that inspires excellence through fun, it's a chance to learn the game of tennis in a very different environment.
"All of our campers get the one-on-one attention they need from experienced coaches. In every single activity we plan, we emphasize having fun and building the self-confidence necessary to truly excel both on and off the court," said Rupchin.
Slots are limited, and there are discounts available for families enrolling more than one child in the program. To reserve your space in San Jose or any of the camps at the other locations, enroll today.
