LCDTVBuyingGuide.com Announces Samsung LED TV Lineup for 2013 with Initial Reviews, Specs, and Model Comparisons

Reviewers Robert Wiley and Jack Burden cover the complete list of Samsung LCD/LED TV new releases for the 2013 year

ATLANTA, March 7, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Reviewers and editors from LCDTVBuyingGuide.com have covered Samsung's entire new lineup for 2013 and early 2014. Samsung has dropped the majority of their focus from the plasma lineup to really push the LED TV technology. Robert Wiley and Jack Burden put in the time to compile a complete list of the TVs to be released on their Samsung LCD-LED TVs page. The cream of the crop for the year is the F8000 series, but the TV right below it in the lineup deserves some attention too. Robert Wiley says the UN55F7500 is one to watch. He says, "Samsung's F7500 stands out when it comes to picture quality and design. Contrast is impressive on this one with the best black level performance. The design of the TV it as eye catching as it is pleasing. The super thin bezel and curved stand really play into the floating image illusion," in the review.

Robert also covered another high end LED TV from Samsung. The Samsung UN55F6800 drops a few of the top end picture quality features, but he notes that this model is the only one to feature a special appearance. "Design is one of the key feature of the UN55F6800 with the 'window design' which is accentuated by the almost imperceptible branch style stand feet and super thin .2" bezel frame. The color of the frame is a matte silver finish. To me it doesn't look better or worse really than the F7100, F7500 or F8000 series." On top of the design it has all the smart TV features and 3D playback that the high end models utilize.

Another entry from the popular 6000 series is the Samsung UN55F6400. Samsung will make it available in just about any size one could want. The sizes range from 40 inches all the way to 75 inches. Robert Wiley says the 3D performance on this model "keeps the good qualities seen in the top tier model 3D performance. The UN55F6400 uses active 3D technology to create the 3D image. This method of displaying 3D images is preferred over passive due to the higher levels of detail and better sense of depth in the picture. Contrast and color degrade a bit when viewing from the side. We have given Samsung's 3D high marks in the past and that remains the case this year."

Nearing the the end of the lineup is the value oriented Samsung UN50F5000 LED TV. Jack Burden highligted the reasons why this TV would be perfect for the shopper on a budget. Here is what he said in the review: "The Samsung UN50F5000 is a 1080p full HD option for those not looking for all the bells and whistles of LED TVs higher up in the Samsung lineup. This one goes without 3D playback and smart TV functions of any sort. If you aren't going to miss those, this one is worth a look. It does only have a 60Hz refresh rate, so you'll have to decide if the slower panel will inhibit the sort of programming you mainly want the TV for."
