Kristy M. Goldman joined King Law Group in October 2012 and became Of Counsel in April 2013. Ms. Goldman is a member of the firm's insurance defense and commercial litigation teams. Kristy has a broad range of experience in defending first-party and third-party insurance disputes as well as experience litigating complex commercial cases involving fraud, business torts, intellectual property, employment, and real estate disputes.
Prior to joining King Law Group, Kristy was an associate at Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman where she practiced large-scale commercial litigation and served as a member of the trial team for the four-week trial of a multi-million dollar construction contract dispute. Prior to her time at Kasowitz, Ms. Goldman was an associate at Martin, Disiere, Jefferson & Wisdom where she gained experience in the defense of first-party insurance matters.
Kristy is a 2008 honor graduate of Baylor Law School where she served as an Articles Editor for the Baylor Law Review and completed Baylor's rigorous practice court program. Prior to attending law school, Kristy obtained her B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University, graduating summa cum laude, and serving as the Executive Director of Class Councils for the University.
Kristy is licensed to practice in state and federal courts throughout the State of Texas. She is a Member of the Austin Bar Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, and the Houston Bar Association.
Jason W. Wright joined King Law Group in May 2013. Jason will expand and develop the family law & estate planning areas of the practice while also working with the insurance litigation and commercial litigation teams. His experience, creativity, and leadership enable him to find the right strategies and solutions for complex family-law matters. Jason excels in helping clients navigate through some of the most difficult moments of their lives to achieve the best outcome for them and their children.
Born and raised in Texas, Jason has called Austin home for almost 20 years. An active leader in the community Jason has served in leadership positions with Leadership Austin, Habitat for Humanity, and other non-profit organizations. Jason earned a bachelors degree in communications from the University of Texas and graduated from Texas Wesleyan School of Law. Jason was the Founder and Citation Editor for the Texas Wesleyan Journal of Real Property Law.
