Kindle Ford Given Global Ford Award for Superior Service and Contributions to the Community

Ford presents "Salute to Dealers" video:

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, N.J., Feb. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Kindle Ford is among an elite group of Ford and Lincoln dealerships to be recognized with the 2014 Salute to Dealers Award by Ford Motor Company. The prestigious award honors dealerships that provide outstanding products and services while improving the lives of those in need.

"I think the bottom line is that I have an inherent need to help those in need," says Kindle Ford owner Bill Kindle. "I think that was inherited from my father. He was always looking to help somebody. In fact, we used to call him Red Cross Bob."

Taking a cue from his father, Bill Kindle and the Kindle Ford family have played important roles in several local initiatives from a designated driving campaign, to a sea turtle program and the Marine Mammal Stranding Center. Additionally, Bill's piloting pastime has lended itself to Angel Flight Northeast, an organization that provides free air transportation to families in need of critical medical care.

Ford's Salute to Dealers Award was established in 2001. Dealers become eligible through survey responses from customers related to their sales and service satisfaction.

"Ford is very proud of the contributions made by the dealers who are nominated for this award and the 94 men and women who have been selected as Salute to Dealers honorees since the program's inception," said Dave Principato, Ford Regional Manager. "Considering the high quality and community spirit of our dealer body, this is a tribute to their hard work and dedication to make the world a better place."
