Kia 'Super Sorento' Auctioned Away as Part of 'We Can Be Heroes' Campaign

Special Edition 2014 Kia Sorento Receives Justice League Theme

JOLIET, Ill., July 25, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The seven-passenger 2014 Kia Sorento has joined forces with the Dark Knight, the Man of Steel, and several other DC Entertainment superheroes to create a uniquely styled Justice League-inspired crossover.

The special edition Justice League Kia Sorento was designed by Jim Lee and created by West Coast Customs to be auctioned off as part of DC Entertainment's "We Can Be Heroes" campaign. Through the Ebay auction and other charitable ventures, DC Entertainment continues raising money for the Horn of Africa, which frequently faces famine and currently is dealing with its most severe food crisis in six decades.

With the recent Comic-Con announcement of Batman appearing in the new Man of Steel movie in 2015, the "Super Sorento" was unveiled at the perfect time and has caught the attention of fans. Although bidding for the special edition Kia Sorento doesn't conclude until the afternoon of July 27, the top bid has already risen above $37,000.

The uniquely styled 2014 Kia Sorento features a full display of DC Entertainment styling, including the Justice League's leading superheroes painted on the exterior, character logos on each of the seats, and the Justice League logo prominently displayed on the hood.

When it's not sporting its Justice League comrades, the 2014 Kia Sorento has a superhero team of its own, as it joins the reintroduced 2014 Kia Sedona and the rest of the 2014 Kia lineup near Chicago, IL to create one of the most "super" lineups in the automotive industry.

To experience the 2014 Kia Sorento without its Justice League styling or to browse any of the other new Kia models, you can visit or call the dealership at 815-741-6975.
