SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- As the month of November comes to a close, Ingram Park Auto Center (IPAC) is making its final preparations for the 11th Annual Angel Tree Calcutta and Golf Tournament. The events take place on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016 and Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, respectively. Proceeds from Angel Tree will directly benefit the Salvation Army and its efforts in supporting children and families across the San Antonio area. To date, IPAC has helped raise over $750,000 with the Angel Tree events.
The 10th Annual Angel Tree provided help and resources for over 8,000 families and individuals through South Texas. IPAC, who underwrites the golf tournament and Calcutta, ensures 100 percent of the donations made throughout these events directly benefit San Antonio families.
Both events take place at the Club at Sonterra golf course. The Calcutta begins with a cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 10:00 p.m. after dinner, a scotch tasting, the live Calcutta auction and a cigar bar. The golf tournament begins with registration and a mimosa breakfast at 8:30 a.m. the following day.
During the golf tournament there will be a putting contest as well competitions with the following awards - Closest to the Pin and Longest Putt.
All players are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy, which will be donated to children throughout the community in time for the Christmas holiday.
