OSLO, Norway, Nov. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Indra Navia, a Norwegian-based air traffic management subsidiary of Indra, has been awarded a number of major contracts for the delivery of seven GAREX 220 Compact 3 Voice Communication Control Systems (VCCS) in Norway, Sri Lanka, Angola and Georgia. These compact systems provide a comprehensive but cost-effective, standardised package of communications facilities.
The GAREX 220 family of VCCS systems offer a full range of ATC communication functionality and have been developed over a 50 year period. Indra Navia is globally recognized as a superior provider of functional, safe and dependable communications solutions.
Indra Navia was the prime bidder in Norway and Sri Lanka, while contracts in Angola and Georgia were awarded with the cooperation of long-term partners.
