Illinois Kia Dealer Welcomes Back the Kia Sedona

The Kia Sedona returns to Bill Jacobs Kia for the 2014 model year

JOLIET, Ill., July 23, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- After being noticeably absent from the 2013 Kia lineup, the Kia Sedona is back for the 2014 model year and ready to recapture its portion of the minivan segment.

Although much of what made the Kia Sedona a success in 2012 is back for 2014, there are subtle changes, upgrades, and new standard equipment that make the 2014 Kia Sedona a better value for families. At first glance, the exterior receives a number of stylistic touches, including a redesigned front grille and new LED running lights and fog lights.

Inside, the Sedona gets a few modernized additions as well. With a new tablet storage compartment on all trims, along with heated-lather trimmed seats and automatic climate control on the EX trim, the Sedona delivers some of the top features drivers seek while maintaining its simple, intuitive interior.

Across all trims, the 2014 Kia Sedona features a single 269-horespower, 3.5-liter V6 engine coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. The EPA estimates the Sedona will muster 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway.

Perhaps the biggest draw to the minivan segment is the practical passenger space and available cargo space, both of which the 2014 Kia Sedona has plenty of. With the second and third row removed, drivers have access to 141.5 cubic ft. of storage. Remove just the third row, and 80 cubic ft. of cargo space remains, which rivals many crossovers' max cargo space.

With the arrival of the 2014 Kia Sedona at Bill Jacobs Kia near Chicago, IL, the 2014 Kia model lineup begins taking shape. The 2014 Sedona joins the all-new Kia Cadenza premium sedan as the first 2014 Kia models at Bill Jacobs Kia, one of Illinois premier Kia dealers.
