AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 24, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- An Austin-area Honda dealership is now offering model information pages comparing the 2018 Honda Accord to two competing midsize sedan models. The Howdy Honda website now offers detailed breakdowns of the how the 2018 Honda Accord compares to the 2018 Chevrolet Malibu and the 2018 Kia Optima.

The three pages compare multiple aspects of each car. This includes the engine options, fuel economy ratings, trim levels and feature options offered on the Accord, Malibu and Optima.

Two engine options will be offered on the 2018 Accord. The car can be equipped with a 1.5-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine, or a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The Howdy Honda comparison pages look at how these engine options compare to the engines offered on the Malibu and Optima.

The best performance numbers offered on the Accord come via the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine is rated at 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. The best performance numbers available on the Malibu check in at 250 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, while the Optima maxes out at 245 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.

The 2018 Chevrolet Malibu and 2018 Kia Optima each offer only automatic transmission options.
