LEHIGHTON, Pa., Dec. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Local drivers who are in the market for regular maintenance or repairs can head to Carolina Kia to help support our community. From now through December 25, Carolina Kia is offering a reduction of one dollar on service fees for every one can of non-perishable food brought in. The entire dealership is participating and donation baskets can be found throughout the dealership.
Open Door Ministries is set to benefit from these donations as they will receive the donated food items and redistribute them to families in the triad area. Open Door Ministries has been a part of the High Point community for over twenty years. It is the result of a merger between two former agencies, High Point Urban Ministry and Open Door Shelter. The primary mission of Open Door Ministries is to serve, empower and minister to local residents to end homelessness and hunger in High Point.
Carolina Kia is thrilled to be part of the effort to help members of the High Point community and to support the good work of Open Door Ministries. Drivers who would also like to support these benevolent community efforts should contact the Carolina Kia service department to schedule service. When they bring their vehicles to Carolina Kia they should also bring a food item to donate.
Drivers are encouraged to contact the service department at Carolina Kia for more information regarding the 2017 Food Drive. Those interested in participating are welcome to contact the dealership at 866-847-5639, visit the dealership's website for information regarding the Food Drive, or go to the dealership located at 2445 Main Street in High Point.
