Genneve wins Women Founders Network Fast Pitch Competition

Ten female entrepreneurs vied for cash prizes and in-kind service awards

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Genneve, a female healthcare brand that provides bold content and healthy products to help women navigate hormonal change, and its CEO and co-founder Jill Angelo, was the winner of the Women Founders Network 2016 Annual Fast Pitch Competition, winning $30,000 in cash prizes.

In second and third place respectively were Tot Squad, a service that cleans, repairs and installs strollers and car seats, and NailSnaps, the makers of customized nail wraps. Rounding out the top five were EmoJam, an app and a keyboard that lets users send musical emojis, in fourth place and Kitterly, a personalized approach at knitting projects, in fifth place.

The judging panel consisted of venture capital and private equity firm executives. The top five companies will receive professional services valued at more than $100,000.

In addition, Tot Squad received the $5,000 Junior Judges cash award for the Best Fast Pitch presentation. This award empowers girls aged 10-18 to make an impact and to be inspired by women entrepreneurs.
