Free IVF Cycle Lottery: In celebration of Dr. Cohen joining IHR

To enter the 2014 Free IVF Cycle Lottery, couples need to submit the simple Free IVF Cycle Application.  The Free IVF Cycle drawing will be held at noon on Thanksgiving's Eve, November 26, 2014. The initiative reflects the Institute for Human Reproduction's desire to help make infertility treatments more accessible to all those desiring the joy of parenting, especially during these tough economic times. Previously, Dr. Cohen served as Professor and Chief of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) Division at the University of Chicago. Dr. Cohen graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, with a BS in Neurobiology, and then received his MD from New York Medical College. He completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the State University of NY in Syracuse, and a Fellowship in REI at the Medical College of Georgia. He was then awarded entry into the Reproductive Scientist Development Program of the NIH and completed a research fellowship at Cornell Medical Center in NY in Molecular Medicine. Along his distinguished career, he has published numerous scientific papers and book chapters and earned many awards, including the 2010 University of Chicago Faculty Physician Peer-Role Model Award.

Dr. Cohen served in the past as President of the Chicago Association of Reproductive Endocrinologists. He is a member of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinologists and Infertility (SREI), the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART), the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). Dr. Cohen is a board certified specialist in REI and in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and he has successfully treated infertile couples from Illinois and around the world, as well as those requiring IVF with Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) in order conceive healthy children without genetic disorders.
