Formerly known as Mobil Travel Guide, Forbes is the originator of the prestigious Five Star awards in the United States, and also includes Canada, China and Singapore in its annual ratings.
This year, 11 Four Seasons hotels in the US and China have been awarded Five Stars: San Francisco, Washington DC, Palm Beach, Atlanta, Hualalai, Maui, Chicago, Boston, New York, Jackson Hole and Hong Kong.
In addition, Four Seasons Spas in Vail, Las Vegas and Hong Kong have achieved Five Star status, and Fountain Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia has also been honoured with Five Stars.

AAA Five Diamond Honours
Four Seasons hotels and resorts featured prominently in the recently announced AAA Five Diamond honours, covering properties in the US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. For 2013, 22 Four Seasons hotels and resorts achieved AAA Five Diamond status. Of special note are Four Seasons Resort Nevis, West Indies which joined the prestigious list for the first time in 2012, and Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia, which has maintained its AAA Five Diamond status since 1984, and also boasts one of America's few AAA Five Diamond dining experiences, Fountain Restaurant.

While Forbes Star ratings and AAA Diamond ratings are determined by professional inspectors, TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards are based on the opinions and reviews of travellers.
