SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Epitec, Inc. has implemented a new structure for its Executive team which will improve delivery of services to their customer base, expand new business and strengthen its support operations.
Epitec utilized a manufacturing concept known as "swimlanes" to develop the new Executive structure. 3 swimlanes have been created: 1. Sales, 2. New Business Development and 3. Support Operations. The 3 swimlanes help to visually clarify the overall layout of the company's processes and helps to optimize capacity and efficiency. Each Epitec Executive is responsible for critical functions within their own swimlane.
"Over the past 3 years the job market has become increasingly more competitive", said Epitec's President, Josie Sheppard. "Our talented candidates are evaluating multiple job offers locally and throughout the country. Our customers are demanding more interaction with Sales, our prospects are demanding time upfront to define business problems prior to accepting a solution, and the improvements to our back room help to differentiate Epitec from its competition." By streamlining the oversight of sales and new business development, and strengthening the backroom operations, Epitec expects to control costs while improving delivery and support service to its employees and customer base.
"We continue to identify ways to improve service to our customers. Our new structure, along with our culture, endorses appropriate behaviors and our systems and processes facilitate efficient working practices. And so, our people will be successful and Epitec will continue to grow." believes Jerry Sheppard, CEO of Epitec.
As part of the new structure, Rebecca Bray has been promoted to Chief Sales Officer, also referred to as Chief Rainmaker. Bray is responsible for the Sales and Recruiting teams that support Epitec's existing client base; the Sales swimlane. She is also responsible for the oversight of Epitec's Recruiting Academy which continues to be the foundation for Epitec success.
Mark Ruma has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer, also referred to as Chief Architect of Growth. "I am excited about the new structure. The swimlanes ensure accountability to be maintained at the highest levels of the company, and each Executive has full line of sight and control of their business functions." stated Ruma. Ruma is focusing on bolstering the business and technology infrastructure to support the company as it continues to expand both revenue growth and product lines across the country; the Support swimlane.
Anthony Hollamon, Executive Vice President for Epitec, is responsible for new business development, human resources, and customer service. "As I talk to potential customers, I find that our service to the customer and our employee experience provided by our human resources team is really what differentiates Epitec from its competition. Our employees are well taken care of and, therefore, our customers are well taken care of. Our new structure allows the necessary control when engaging a new customer and servicing our existing customers. Epitec can quickly comply with pre-screening requirements, onboarding requirements, support and reporting requirements and contract ending requirements." said Hollamon.
The new Executive structure is expected to increase Epitec's market share with existing clients, to create opportunities to service new clients, and to ensure a strong support operations. The new structure is timely because Epitec is vigorously working to match customer demand by hiring more than 600 technology resources in 2013 and hiring an additional 100 sales, recruiting, and back office support staff.
