Diabetes Hands Foundation Announces New CEO

Gene Kunde takes the helm

BERKELEY, Calif., Dec. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Diabetes Hands Foundation's Board of Directors ("Board") announced today that it has appointed Eugene (Gene) Kunde, currently Executive Director and CFO of ProInspire, as Diabetes Hands Foundation's new CEO, effective December 16th, 2015.

Kunde comes to Diabetes Hands Foundation after an extensive search to replace Manny Hernandez, the co-founder of Diabetes Hands Foundation.

Kunde brings to Diabetes Hands Foundation nearly thirty years of executive leadership experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. He is the former CEO of Birkenstock USA, LP and of Sanita Clogs, Inc. Before that he was the COO of Epson America, Inc. He is also the former COO of Strive for College.
