FREMONT, Calif., Nov. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- dB Control, an international defense electronics manufacturer, will exhibit five high-power products in Booth 522 at the 53rd Annual AOC International Symposium and Convention, November 29 – December 1 in Washington, D.C. One of the company's most highly requested products, the dB-3840 traveling wave tube amplifier (TWTA), will be on display for defense contractors, original equipment manufacturers and military leaders. The dB-3840 is an outdoor hub-mount Ka-band TWTA operating at 34.5 to 35.5 GHz, 700 Watts pulsed and 10 percent duty cycle.
"Operating in the Ka-band can be integral during critical military operations because troops need wideband performance to combat complex threats. Applications such as EW simulation require amplifiers that provide spectral purity and very high stability of the transmitted waveform. The dB-3840 TWTA fits the bill, offers higher power over a wider bandwidth, and can be custom configured," said dB Control Vice President of Business Development Steve Walley.
dB Control will also showcase these additional products in Booth 522:
- dB-4127 high-band MPM – 6 to 18 GHz, 200 Watts pulsed/continuous wave, conduction cooled. Applications: electronic countermeasures (ECM), electronic warfare (EW) simulation, ground mobile, airborne platforms
- dB-4150 smart MPM – 6 to 18 GHz, 100 Watts pulsed/continuous wave, conduction cooled, Ethernet interface, forward/reverse power monitor. Applications: ECM, EW simulation
- dB-3758 X-band MPM – 1000 Watts pulsed, 9 to 10 GHz, conduction cooled. Applications: Multi-mode radars, SAR, manned and unmanned platforms
- dB-2347-01 airborne power supply – 1500 VDC input, 6.4 VDC output @ 68 Amps. Applications: decoy for airborne platforms
Steve Walley can be contacted for product datasheets and information about customization.
This year's AOC event will focus on electromagnetic spectrum operations for military leaders, policy makers and electronic warfare practitioners from an international perspective. Technical papers and product exhibitions will help disseminate research findings and increase awareness of emerging technologies in the areas of electronic support, electronic attack, electronic protection, spectrum awareness and spectrum deconfliction.
