Dallas-area Mitsubishi Dealership Will Welcome All-New Hybrid Model in Late Dec.

The 2018 Outlander PHEV Hybrid will be available at Don Herring Mitsubishi

DALLAS, Nov. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Don Herring Mitsubishi, a dealership with three locations in Dallas, Plano and Irving, is expecting the arrival of the all-new 2018 Outlander PHEV Hybrid in late December. Available for the first time ever in the U.S., the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is a hybrid crossover that is priced between the Outlander Sport and Outlander. The newly available model is expected to quickly gain popularity as more American drivers continue to make the switch to hybrid and electric models over traditional gas models.

The Outlander PHEV can be driven in all-electric, gas or hybrid modes. The hybrid is equipped with a 2.0L engine and two 60-kW electric motors that deliver a combined 195 horsepower. The 300-volt, 12-kWh lithium-ion battery pack can be charged via the plug or via the regenerative braking system. The crossover is equipped Mitsubishi's Super All-Wheel Control System to improve control in tough road conditions. The Outlander PHEV also offers a transferable 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle warranty and transferable 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, including the lithium-ion battery pack.

Drivers interested in learning more about the 2018 Outlander PHEV can check Don Herring Mitsubishi's blog page or model research page for additional information.
