PALO ALTO, Calif., May 19, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- ClickUp officially launched their project management software which hopes to capture a share of the market by offering a solution emphasizing flexibility.
The team believes it can differentiate from the competition through proprietary functionality that makes it simple for different types of teams to apply the product to their own needs.
Over the past several months, Click Up has been running a medium-scale BETA to collect real-world data demonstrating which functionality users actually used and when.
By applying the insights gained from the BETA, Wes Brummette, a product manager at Click Up, believes that they can acquire a unique advantage over existing options.

Specifically, early users have pushed Click Up to build a system which can work for different parts of an organization.
The startup says that this insight became a central focus of the product, and has lead to many of the design decisions since.
"Many [of the people] in our BETA come from a similar situation as us. They've tried existing tools and left feeling their problems remained unsolved. We wanted to build a community of people who feel underserved by the status quo. These are the people that actually care about the product and are likely to become emotionally invested," Brummette elaborated.
While the product will ultimately need to hold its own in the marketplace, Click Up believes their current momentum bodes well for the trials ahead.
