Charleston Nissan, Hudson Nissan school supply drive benefits Charleston County Schools

The dealerships are collecting supplies for children grades K-12 in time for the back-to-school season

CHARLESTON, S.C., Aug. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Area families are gearing up for the school year and are getting help buying the supplies they need thanks to the Charleston Nissan and Hudson Nissan Fill the Frontier event. The dealerships are asking community members to help support the Charleston County School District with a donation of new school supplies for children grades K-12.

Charleston Nissan and Hudson Nissan are part of Hudson Automotive and are collecting supplies until September 5. The overarching goal is to fill the bed of the Nissan Frontier pickup truck to the brim with new school supplies. Donations are now being accepted and can be placed directly in the Nissan Frontier on display at both locations.

All supplies are needed and include pens, paper, backpacks, notebooks, markers and more. For every school supply donated, the Nissan dealerships will match it with an additional donated item.

This annual event is one of the dealership's many ongoing community service projects. Both Nissan dealers remain destinations in the Charleston, SC area and are family owned and operated. Each location offers a wide selection of new, used and Nissan certified pre-owned vehicles, in addition to on-site financing and a dedicated Nissan service department.
