MANHATTAN, Kan., Jan. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The new year is always an exciting time for car fanatics as there are many January auto shows that provide consumers with the first look at many of the year's upcoming models. Among the two largest early auto shows are the Tokyo Auto Salon and the Detroit Auto Show, both of which served as the venue for a lot of major automobile debuts. Now that the shows have come to a close, the Briggs Auto Group has compiled the specifics and covered some of the most anticipated 2015 models on their numerous informative blogs.
Among the 2015 models highlighted by the auto group is the 2015 Subaru WRX STI, which debuted in Tokyo on Jan. 10. The performance-tuned WRX has been outfitted with a number of proven handling systems including a brand new Active Torque Vectoring system which allows the sedan to better manage the extreme power of the turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
As expected, the 2015 Subaru WRX STI has been outfitted with all of the features that have become synonymous with the performance-tuned STI models. That includes the infamous World Rally Blue paintjob, gold-painted rims and oversized spoiler. Other STI-exclusive features include a deeper hood scoop which allows the intercooler to breathe easier and increase performance.
Briggs has also provided an overview of all of the changes that the 2015 Chrysler 200 will receive. The 2015 model has been completely redesigned both inside and out. The biggest changes will take place under the hood and include the addition of a standard nine-speed automatic transmission which is estimated to provide a 13 percent increase in fuel efficiency. The 2015 model will also mark the first time that the 200 will be available with an all-wheel drive system.
In addition to the 2015 Subaru WRX STI and the 2015 Chrysler 200, Briggs Auto has covered the 2015 GMC Canyon and the 2015 GMC Yukon.
