Bounce Ideas is Taking a Stand in Stilettos to Help End Violence Against Women in the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Toronto Event

Keith Jasper honoured as top individual fundraiser at the 2012 Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Toronto event.

TORONTO, Oct. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Bounce Ideas, a Toronto based marketing-to-women agency is pleased to announce that Keith Jasper, Director of Inspiration has been named the top individual fundraiser at the 4th annual White Ribbon Campaign event at Yonge & Dundas Square.

The White Ribbon Campaign organizes the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Toronto event to help raise awareness among men about the importance of ending violence against women. "Across the province, people have lost loved ones to violence against women," says Nick Rodrigue, Director of Development, White Ribbon Campaign. "Even today, you just have to open up a newspaper to see how prevalent this issue is and how important it is for us to be here."

As a marketing agency that focuses on marketing to women, Bounce Ideas wants to spread the message that women must be 'valued not violated'. Keith exceeded his fundraising goal and more than doubled his donations from last year by raising $4,140. On the event day, he took to the streets in 4-inch, red stilettos to walk for the cause. 

"This year Keith and I had a friendly competition to see who could raise the most money and it's incredible to see him way up there," says Nick. "It's great to see people like him come out year after year to support this cause." 

This was Keith's third year participating in the Toronto event and he plans on participating again next year. "This is such a worthwhile and fun way to help raise awareness for such a great campaign," says Keith. "I believe that every women has the right to be valued and feel safe."
