JOLIET, III., Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Chicago Auto Show has always been a huge event for car fans worldwide and especially for the Chicagoland community. There are cars from all over the world that are brought to the show, and there are also several key events. First Look for Charity is one of the best and biggest events of the Chicago Auto Show and this year the Bill Jacobs Auto Group took part in the black tie affair. This charity event is one of Chicago's greatest one-day fundraisers and it generates almost $2 million for 18 area non-profit organizations. The Bill Jacobs Auto Group was pleased to see some of the best cars of 2013 at the auto show, while having a great time supporting charity.

First Look For Charity is held at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place. Tuxedos are mandatory and people get the chance to get a close look at all of the vehicles at the auto show. Many great Chevy cars were present including the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. the staff was also incredibly impressed with the 2013 Chevy Sonic in Chicago, IL that was there. It is a rare time when you can eat elegant food, have some fantastic drinks and desserts and look at the finest cars in the world. While the staff was impressed with all of the vehicles there, the Chevy booth really caught their eye and they can't wait to get some of the new cars in stock.

Since the First Look for Charity event began back in 1992, it has raised over $34 million for charity. Many charities have benefitted over the years and hopefully this trend will continue. If you are searching for a new urban car for the Chicago area, try the 2013 Chevy Spark in Chicago, IL that was at the auto show.

The Auto Group's biggest excitement of the night was the 2014 Chevy Corvette and since they are the Chicago area's Corvette Leader, they also can service Corvettes. Jim Karas is a Master Certified Technician on Chevy Corvettes and he can fix any problem you'll ever have with that car.
