Big Smile Dental Has a Big Heart This Valentine's Day

Big Smile Dental, 2833 N. Milwaukee Ave. has a unique Valentine's Day present for the needy of our community. FREE dental treatment on a first come, first serve basis.

CHICAGO, Jan. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- "I have been blessed with a successful dental practice," says Dr. Siegel, "and I want to say thank you to the people that have supported me by giving a token of my sincere appreciation back to my community." To date he has been able to treat over 5,000 patients and provide OVER 2 MILLION dollars of Free Dentistry.

Dr. Siegel who has been practicing dentistry in the Logan Square/Avondale area for 26 years wants to let everyone know that his entire staff insisted that they work this Valentine's Day without pay. "My staff is my greatest asset, and I can't tell you how proud I am of them for organizing and putting this benefit together," Siegel stated.

Dr. Siegel will be joined in his office by his entire dental team including Dr. Chad Abed D.D.S. and Dr. Gina Kim D.D.S as well as Dr. David Hanson, M.D., D.D.S., the Lincoln Park Institute for Oral & Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Gary Hosters, D.D.S., Norwood Park Periodontics, and Dr. Henry Lotsof, D.D.S., the Ravenswood Dental Group.

"No one will be refused FREE treatment on Valentine's Day," states Dr. Siegel, "but it is my hope that the truly needy in the community who fear dental bills more than they fear dental treatment, will be first in line to take advantage of this opportunity." Big Smile Dental will be open its doors on Valentine's Day starting at 9 a.m... Patients must be at least 12 years of age to be seen, and accompanied by a parent or guardian if under the age of 18.

No appointments will be made, patients will be given a time for their treatment on a first come, first serve bases Valentines morning and as much treatment will be accomplished as time allows.  "This will not be comprehensive care," says Dr. Siegel, "rather, we will attempt to satisfy patients' immediate needs in the time we have available." Treatment will include cleanings, x-rays, fillings, extractions, diagnostics, and pain control.

Dr. Siegel hopes that dentists throughout the Chicago land area will join him each year and participate in his annual 'Dentists with Heart' event. "Dentists are dedicated and compassionate professionals who work hard to provide excellent care for their patients," Siegel says. "It would be wonderful if the Valentine's Day gift to the community caught on nationwide."
