SHREWSBURY, Mass., June 13, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The American Healthcare Documentation Professionals Group (AHDPG), today announced the launch of its Coding Coaches webinar series. The purpose of these webinars is to help today's healthcare documentation professional (medical billers, medical coders, medical transcriptionists, medical scribes, medical assistants, HIM professionals, CDI Specialists, etc.) expand their knowledge and stay current in response to the ever growing complexities and increasing regulations brought on by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

The first webinar of this series, Coding for Injections and Infusions ($49.95) will take place on June 27th, 2014 at 2:00 PM EDT.  This webinar will present the hierarchy, categories and sequencing of injection and infusions codes for multiple services, along with key definitions, required documentation and key rules of coding services within the injection and infusion services category. This webinar will be moderated by Mr. Douglas Palmer, BS, CCS-P, a Medical Billing and Coding Instructor at AHDPG.  Doug has over 25 years of Health Information Management experience in a wide variety of settings. Environments range from solo medical practitioner practices to some of the largest healthcare systems in the country.
