GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo., Dec. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) is pleased to announce the 2014 Annual Conference and Certification Institute schedule offering education and networking opportunities for professionals throughout the heavy equipment fleet management sector.
This event takes place prior to CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014 - with meetings and educational sessions running from March 2-3 in Las Vegas, NV. Registration is currently open for this must attend event for equipment management professionals.
Registration can be done either online or by calling 970-384-0510.
What is one of the most important reasons to attend the 2014 Management Conference?
To connect with new people and build your network! With that in mind, AEMP has developed numerous gatherings and opportunities for the attendees at the Conference to mix and mingle and exchange new ideas and experiences.
The relaxed atmosphere of social gatherings and the personal connection that face-to-face meetings provide, all serve to help attendees build relationships that can help grow their companies and careers.
Certification Institute (CI)
AEMP's credentials showcase the specialized skill sets needed by equipment industry professionals. Each offering is led by industry experts with a strong focus on peer-to-peer learning.
The 2014 Management Conference will offer courses and examination for the following two credentials:
The Certified Equipment Manager (CEM) designation is the only recognized standard for judging the qualifications of a manager of heavy off-road equipment or manager of municipal/government fleets. It is an attainable goal for equipment managers who want to be identified as exceptional. To achieve this goal, it takes personal motivation and depends on dedication to professionalism.
In today's competitive market, quality and customer satisfaction go hand in hand. To increase consumer confidence and trust, and help build more prosperous relationships, AEMP introduced the Certified Equipment Support Professional (CESP), a certification program for equipment suppliers. The purpose of the CESP is to provide a high standard of certification to a professional supplier who possesses a depth of understanding of fleet management skills and the ability to interact with all fleet-related professionals.
For professionals who have already earned their CEM or CESP, the 2014 Management Conference will provide 15 Continuing Education Units (CEU's) toward re-certification of your designation. Additional CEU's may be earned by attending other qualifying education or through AEMP University, www.aempu.org.
AEMP Selected as CONEXPO Education Provider
As a chosen education provider, AEMP's Equipment Asset Management track offered at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG show is yet another way for end users to obtain cutting edge information for today's challenging economy and business model. Sessions will run from Tuesday, March 4 through Friday, March 7, 2014 at several different time frames to allow for flexibility in viewing the exhibit floor.
