The event, organized by The European Affairs Committee of the United Nations Association of the United States of America – Young Professionals ("UNA – USA – Young Professionals"), in collaboration with The Global Studies Program at The New School, featured a thoughtful and stimulating discussion on the current and future prospects for a monetary union threatened by potential collapse.
Carlos, a financial sector expert in distressed sovereign debt and special situations, put forth the comparison of the current EU debt crisis with the Latin American debt crises in the 1980s and 90s.
