DAYTON, Ohio, Aug. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- In a day and age when it seems every eight year old has a smart phone and iPads are now taking over the role of cash registers, it only makes sense that our vehicles adapt to new technology. The 2013 Honda Pilot wasn't the first automobile to catch on to the trend, but it's made efforts to keep itself a contender.
In order to bring smart phone and man together as one, the new 2013 Honda Pilot (here) is now equipped with Bluetooth technology. With steering wheel mounted controls, you can now access your phone via the Honda Pilot. People driving next to you may think you are talking to yourself, but at least you will be able to pay more attention to the road. Also available, via Bluetooth, is audio streaming to listen to all of your favorite music wirelessly. Following up with the music idea, the 2013 Pilot has also incorporated a USB audio interface. Drivers, or passengers, can now hook up USB mp3 or iPod devices to play music and tracks that are displayed on the i-MID display. The i-MID display is an intellence feature represeted by an indash screen that displays tons of useful information to the driver. The i-MID is so advanced, it even allows people to add custom wallpapers to it, not a necessity, but it makes your vehicle feel more personal. Now making an appearance is the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with voice recognition. Navigation has been available in automobiles for quite some time now, but the updates for the 2013 Honda Pilot, Dayton, OH navigation now makes for an easier and more intuitive user experience. Rounding off the technology theme, standard review cameras have also been added to the Pilot for a smoother parking and trailer hook up experience.
